How To Use: SVG to JPG/WebP Converter
This tool allows you to easily convert your SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files into JPG or WebP raster image formats with full control over quality, size, and background.
Step 1: Uploading Your SVG Files
You have three ways to upload your files:
Click to Browse: Simply click on the “Select Files” button or anywhere inside the dashed “Drop SVG files here” area. A file dialog will open for you to select one or multiple SVG files from your computer.
Drag and Drop: Drag your SVG files from your computer folder and drop them directly onto the dashed area. The area will turn blue to indicate it’s ready to accept your files.
File Input: You can also use the hidden file input, but the first two methods are the primary ones.
Note: Once uploaded, a green success message will appear in the top-right corner, confirming the number of files added. You will see a preview of each SVG file in the “Preview & Results” section.
Step 2: Configure the Output Settings (Advanced Options)
Before converting, you can customize how your final images will look.
1. Output Format:
JPEG: Best for photographs or images with complex colors. It does not support transparency and will use the background color you set.
WEBP: A modern format that provides excellent quality at a smaller file size. It supports transparency, so the background color option will be ignored if you choose this.
2. Quality Slider:
Adjust the slider to control the compression level of the output image.
A higher value (e.g., 95%) means better image quality but a larger file size.
A lower value (e.g., 60%) means smaller file size but lower image quality.
The current value is displayed as a percentage next to the slider.
3. Scale Factor:
This multiplier increases the resolution of your output image.
Since SVGs are vectors, they can be scaled without losing quality. A scale of
2xwill make the output image twice as wide and twice as tall as the original SVG’s intrinsic size, resulting in a much sharper image. The current value is displayed next to the slider.
4. Background Color (For JPG only):
This setting is only effective when the output format is JPEG, as JPEG does not support transparency.
You can choose a background color either by clicking the color picker box or by typing a valid hex color code (e.g.,
#fffffffor white,#000000for black) into the text field.
5. Custom Width & Height:
You can set exact dimensions for your output image in pixels.
Width: Enter a value to set a fixed width.
Height: Enter a value to set a fixed height.
Maintain Aspect Ratio: When this box is checked, if you only enter a width or a height, the other dimension will be calculated automatically to keep the image from looking stretched or squashed.
Step 3: Converting the Files
Once your settings are configured, click the “Convert All” button.
The button will change to show a “Converting…” shimmer effect and will be disabled.
Under each preview image, the status will change from “Ready to convert” to “Converting…” and then to “✓ Converted” upon success.
If there is an error (e.g., with a corrupt SVG file), the status will show an error message.
Step 4: Downloading the Results
After the conversion is complete, you have two options to download your files:
Download Single File: A blue “Download” button will appear below each successfully converted image. Click it to download that specific file immediately.
Download All Files: Once at least one file is converted, the “Download All” button will be enabled. Clicking this will download all converted images one by one.
Step 5: Clearing and Starting Over
To remove all uploaded and converted files and reset the tool for a new batch, simply click the “Clear All” button. This will empty the preview area and reset the upload field.
