Helpful tips
-
Prefer numeric search when you know the 6-digit PIN — it gives exact results. Use area name when you’re unsure of the PIN.
-
If nothing shows, try a slightly different spelling or a broader term (e.g., city instead of neighbourhood).
-
The tool uses India Post’s public API for live results; if the API is temporarily unreachable you’ll see a friendly error message. Try again a moment later.
-
The tool does not store your searches — it’s a front-end that fetches live data only.
Error & privacy notes
-
If you see an error like “Unable to fetch live data,” it means the external API or your connection had a problem — retry after a few seconds.
-
There’s a small trust message under the tool: your data is safe — we don’t store anything
